Visited the Eastern market and was fortunate to drive up to find an available parking spot near Frank's. Being that it was a Saturday afternoon, Frank's was buzzing. I have to highlight the service team here as they were exceptional, very pleasant and helpful! I was able to order promptly and be seated.

Great diner and breakfast. Fast, friendly, no frills. If you're shopping down at the Eastern Market and need a place to fuel up, this is the place.

Called in a Corned Beef hamburger without cheese lunch. Pick up my food. My order was completely wrong. A corned beef hamburger is exactly what is sounds like. Corned beef on a hamburger. I got a hamburger with a piece of ham on it. Which is called a Frank's burger. We call back to advise them of the mistake. The woman on the phone was rude and argumentative about the order we placed. The womans name is Sheila that assisted us. She insisted and argued that we ordered the wrong food. Where is the CUSTOMER SERVICE? What happened to listening to the customer and addressing their concerns. The only time Sheila listened to our concerns are when we asked for the manager. This is my second bad experience with Frank's. I will not be patronizing Frank's any longer.

Great deli and grill the eastern market. They have pretty much everything you could think of for breakfast lunch and dinner. I love the openness of the kitchen. The atmosphere is very much like a old school diner. I got the cheese burger with corned beef. The burger was ok, the corned beef was a little dry, I don't know if it's because it was over cooked or was it that it was a lean piece of meat.
I prefer my corned beef to be cooked with the fat on it, not trimmed it adds to the flavor. But I would till try this place again and look forward to trying the other dishes. -

Decent corned beef. Really great service. When you round it out it's a solid 3. Located right across from Detroit Mercantile, the location is prime real estate. When I first discovered this place I thought because of the look of it it was going to be an immediate go to for corned beef. I think because my expectations were super high that I let myself down.
This place is like your average diner that focuses on their corned beef. It's good but it's really nothing to write home about.
I had great service and the place is very clean and really cool looking, but again I've had much better corned beef for the price. I think it's worth stopping in if you're hungry and you're in the area, but I wouldn't seek it out like I would other places for sandwiches or breakfast. Nothing wrong with being middle of the road. There's definitely some room for them to up their game though. It does get pretty busy when there's events going on downtown also, so if you come in and you have to wait in line I would maybe suggest moving on if you're really hungry.
